PCC has access to a variety of information to help you determine whether merchandise purchased from PCC is lead free or RoHS compliant, although the ultimate responsibility rests with you the customer, and the components manufacturer.

RoHS Statement

PC Components is aware of various RoHS compliance mandates and therefore has gathered information concerning the components that it resells to assist its customers in determining whether such components are in compliance of the mandate.

PCC however is an independent distributor and therefore does not manufacture any of the components that it offers for sale. The Original Component Manufacturer (OCM) is the only source that can provide final information as to whether a specific component is RoHS compliant.

PCC does not introduce any chemicals or materials in its processes that change the RoHS status of the components that it sells.

Any information provided by PCC concerning the RoHS status of a component has been provided based upon our best effort to provide accurate information obtained from the manufacturer’s web site, data sheet, or other information provided by the manufacturer.

PCC cannot be held responsible for information that it or its employees provide concerning the RoHS status of a component, or for errors or omissions, even if due to employee error or negligence.

Ultimately, you the customer, are responsible for verifying RoHS compliance of product purchased from PCC or any distributor, as no distributor can certify RoHS compliance beyond reviewing supporting documentation from the component’s manufacturer.
